About This Site
This site was created to provide a resource for non-scientists, and particularly children, to learn about the facinating subject of Carnivorous Plants. I created this site because most of the sites on the internet about these plants contain material and language aimed at a more scientific educational level. They are very good, but may be confusing for younger readers. I hope that this site will bridge that gap to help people understand what is on many other sites, as well as pool together resources from other great Carnivorous Plant sites to pass along information about this subject. If you are in the Centre County area, Pennsylvania, USA, and would like me to talk to your group or class, or if you would like more information on these plants or get a few plants of your own, please get a hold of me, details can be found on the Contact Page.
Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions not answered on the site, please contact me at:

Site Use
To get the most out of this site, it is best to review the information on the Site Use page before going too deep into the site. I know that sounds boring, but trust me please. This is a big site and it is easy to get lost!
Known Site Errors
There are a few known site errors on Internet Explorer. One that I know about is that certain screen resolutions cause some problems with the margins on either side of the page. This is because the CSS operator for some of the page setup is broken in IE. There is a workaround for it, but it needs a good deal of time to accomplish. The other is that the menu buttons disappear for a second when you scroll the mouse over them. The reason for this is that even though all the buttons are the same file (they are all one button stacked on top of the other with only half of it showing), Internet Explorer tries to reload it. There is a workaround for this, too, but it will take several hours to put up. It is on the list of things to do later. Please contact me if you notice any other errors with an updated web broswer.
